“There are really no words to fully convey my appreciation and love for Loevy Afanador. My son’s articulation challenges were pretty severe when Loevy started working with him. I was told by evaluators and Drs that he may never be able to make the c, k, qu or g sounds that involve him using the back of his throat. As a mother, I was so heartbroken and nervous about his future with a severe articulation delay. I still cannot believe that only a year and a half later, my son can make all of these sounds and I have Loevy to thank for this. Her approach is both fun and rigorous, but just rigorous enough where she will NOT push my child to the point of him shutting down. Loevy takes a gentle approach and puts the whole child first. I appreciate this so much as my son, who is extremely bright and self-aware, never developed a complex and this is all because of Loevy. My son loves working with her and that is because he knows she genuinely cares about him and this isn’t just a job for her. We need more people in the world like Loevy!”
